Aimangala is the main access point for all the people travelling to chitradurga or hiryur. Buses going towards chitradurga and hiriyur stop here. People from the surrounding villages reach aimangala via autorickshaw/bicycle/motorbikes which are the most popular and affordable means of transportation. Aimangala has a high school, temple outside the village, restaurant, tea shops, medical store and photo studio providing services to people of aimangala and neighbouring villages. Aimangala is also famous for khaara mandakki and mensinakaayi which is a puffed rice, bombay mix and chilli bhaaji snack.
